This years SBC Digital Summit will provide a completely virtual and interactive conference, exhibition and networking experience to representatives which are interested in the betting and gaming industry. The event will gather the world’s leading gaming operators, suppliers, regulators and other industry stakeholders. The participants will share the latest developments in sports betting and Igaming.
The CEO panel at this month’s SBC Digital Italia conference and exhibition will gather leaders from Lottomatica, SNAITECH, Sisal and Novomatic Italia where they will expose their vision for the future of the betting and gaming industry.
The event will take place 28-29 July 2021 and will be fully virtual. The full agenda includes the major issues which both online and retail sectors are facing lately. The speakers will expose insights from the perspectives of operators, suppliers, the regulator, professional sports, government and law enforcement.
One of the high points in is ‘The Sustainable Future of Gaming’ session, which is scheduled for the first day of the event. The topic will study the impact the industry has on the economy and society.
The speakers will review what are the profits that the industry brings in terms of employment and tax revenue and how can this be balanced with concerns in terms of player protection. The main goal is finding a sustainable solution that works for stakeholders across the industry and is acceptable to the Italian public and government.
Four of Italy’s biggest companies will be represented by their CEOs, who will discuss how this goal can be accomplished. Guglielmo Angelozzi (Lottomatica), Fabio Schiavolin (SNAITECH), Francesco Durante (Sisal) and Markus Buechele (Novomatic Italia) will be joined in the Italian gaming summit by moderator Giancarlo Loquenzi, a journalist with RAI Radio 1.

It will be followed by a session that will discuss the changes which the country’s expanding retail gambling sector has to applying order to support its recovery from the financial hit of the pandemic.
The closing of day one’s agenda is a session that is concentrated on the newest marketing strategies and technology, and a panel about Italy’s leading role in the battle against match-fixing in international sport.
On day two, in the spotlight will be the online market.
